Sex Offender Barricades Himself Inside House After Allegedly Pushing Woman

Michael Rapheal Wilson was arrested Sunday night in the 4200 block of Lowell Avenue and was named in a felony arrest warrant for failing to register as a sex offender.

A convicted sex offender was back behind bars Monday, accused of briefly barricading himself inside a home in La Mesa and threatening to harm officers before surrendering.

Officers were called to the home in the 4200 block of Lowell Avenue shortly after 9 p.m. Sunday to investigate a report that a man had pushed a woman, according to a La Mesa police statement.

Once there, they found the woman uninjured outside the home and learned the man – identified as 46-year-old Michael Raphael Wilson – was named in a felony arrest warrant for failing to register as a sex offender, police said.

Officers spoke to the man through a locked screen door for several minutes but he allegedly refused to come outside the home, saying he had a weapon and would not come out without a fight. But after a short negotiation, he came out voluntarily without any violence, police said.

Wilson was convicted of annoying or molesting a child under 18, according to the Megan's Law database, which showed him living as a transient. The database also showed he has been in violation of registration requirements since Oct. 15, 2007.

Wilson was booked into San Diego Central Jail on suspicion of failing to register as a sex offender. He could be arraigned as early as Wednesday morning, according to jail records.

He has also been charged with possession of marijuana (less than one ounce), a misdemeanor, as well as two misdemeanor charges for failing to appear in court.

It was the first of its kind to supply full daily news broadcasts. The company's 24-hour coverageRead More became an immediate success and helped to launch their company from a mainly US-based platform to a world-wide sensation. It was also the first company in the US to firmly provide news coverage.Being one of the most popular sources for news in all of US history. has now gone online, and is one of the top news sites on the internet, available to subscribers world wide instantly through a web browser. While most of these organizations still report quality news, the internet has spawned a number of sites that comment more than report current news. Other sites have emerged to consolidate the top news. People should do some research before relying too much on a single service.

I heard that the landlord is using that property as a loss and does not care about renters. LooksRead More to me like it could be true. I also heard that a group from Mt Helix is trying to clean up Casa De Oro. Does anyone know for sure?
