One-Vehicle Crash Shuts Down University Avenue
Traffic is flowing again after a crash near La Mesa Boulevard injures two people. Police say alcohol may have been a factor.
Two people were injured in a one-vehicle crash on University Avenue early Sunday morning that closed the roadway in both directions near La Mesa Boulevard, according to La Mesa police.
Police responded to University Avenue and Lee Avenue just after 2 a.m. A La Mesa police sergeant said alcohol may have been a factor in the crash. No additional information about the crash or the condition of the two injured people was available.
Police have re-opened the closed section of University Avenue and are continuing to investigate the crash.
