Man Stabbed In Early Morning Fight At Fast Food Restaurant In Spring Valley

Sheriff's Lt. Phil Donahue said that the wound is not-life threatening.

An early morning fight at the drive-thru of a fast food restaurant in Spring Valley left one man injured with a stab wound in the arm.

Sheriff's deputies responded to a call at around 2:30 a.m. Thursday, at the Jack In the Box at 1047 Sweetwater Road, to investigate a fight between men who possibly had firearms.

San Diego County sheriff's Lt. Phil Donahue said that once deputies arrived, they found that the assailants had fled, but noticed the stabbing victim across the street. The victim declined to have medical treatment at the scene, as the wound was not life-threatening, according to Donahue.

Investigators believe that three men in a gray vehicle apparently got into a fight with a man in a white pickup truck and at some point, the pickup driver stabbed one of the other men, Donahue said.
