Several Arrested on Felony Warrants Last Week in Spring Valley

The following information was provided by the San Diego Sheriff's Department. The suspects have not been convicted of a crime.

Wednesday, Oct. 26

A car valued at $4,000 was recovered in the 9300 block of San Diego Street.

Edison Valencia, 40, and Kevin Ratliff, 53, were arrested for felony parole violation following a subject stop in the 8600 block of Jamacha Boulevard just before 4 p.m.

Serina Dosio, 32, was arrested on a felony warrant in the 9300 block of San Diego Street around 8 a.m.

A grand theft from a building was reported in the 2600 block of Sweetwater Springs Boulevard, occurring between 3 a.m. Oct. 22 and 11 a.m. Oct. 23.

Thursday, Oct. 27

Tools valued at $400 were reported stolen from a residence in the 400 block of La Presa Avenue, occurring between 7 p.m. Oct. 25 and 6 a.m. Oct. 27.

Friday, Oct. 28

Janice Moseley, 52, and Frederick Smiley, 50, were arrested for felony shoplifting and conspiracy at the Rite Aid on Sweetwater Road. Liquor valued at $45.98 and miscellaneous items valued at $136.42 were recovered.

David Baumeister, 39, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance for sale following a subject stop in the 2800 block of Rosedale Way around 10:30 p.m.

An armed robbery was reported at the ampm/ARCO on Campo Road around 11:30 p.m. Deputies later arrested two men in connection with the robbery.

Saturday, Oct. 29

A stolen vehicle was recovered in the 700 block of Pecos Street.

A car valued at $3,000 was reported stolen in the 1000 block of Leland Street between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Erica Bruce, 27, was arrested for felony carjacking on Campo Road at Kenwood Drive around 3:30 p.m.

Sunday Oct. 30

A car valued at $13,000 was reported stolen in the 9100 block of Kenwood Drive between 10 p.m. Oct. 29 and 9 a.m. Oct. 30.

Robert Taitague, 34, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance for sale following a report of a suspicious person in the 2300 block of Doubletree Road around noon.

An assault with a deadly weapon, not firearm, was reported in the 4600 block of Zion Avenue around 2:30 a.m. A 26-year-old man reported minor injuries.

A wallet was reported stolen in the 8500 block of Bonita Bluffs Court between noon and 1:30 p.m.

Monday, Oct. 31

A case of financial elder abuse and fraudulent use of false contractor’s license was reported in the 400 block of S. Worthington Street, occurring between Feb. 20 and Oct. 31. The loss was valued at $4,000.

A theft by use of access card information was reported in the 1600 block of La Mesa Avenue. The loss was valued at $2,153.49.

Food valued at $25 was reported stolen during a strong-arm robbery in the 1100 block of Paraiso Avenue just after 9 p.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 1

A car valued at $3,000 was reported stolen in the 2200 block of Kings View Circle between 10 p.m. Oct. 31 and 7 a.m. Nov. 1.  

A 54-year-old transient was arrested for misdemeanor vandalism, drunk in public, disobeying a court order and trespassing at the McDonald’s in the 8700 block of Jamacha Road.

Yakob Rashoyan, 21, was arrested for felony possession of a narcotic controlled substance following a subject stop in the 9600 block of Campo Road just before 11 p.m.
