LMPD to Mail Safety Handbook to La Mesa Residents

The Safety Handbook contains tips, information and resources to assist citizens in preventing crime and preparing for regional emergencies and disasters.

The La Mesa Police Department made the following announcement on March 27, 2012:

During the next couple of weeks, La Mesa residents will receive a copy of the City of La Mesa Safety Handbook, which was developed by the La Mesa Police Department in collaboration with Heartland Fire and Rescue.  The Safety Handbook contains tips, information and resources to assist citizens in preventing crime and preparing for regional emergencies and disasters.  The Safety Handbook will be mailed to all residences and business within the City of La Mesa.

The Safety Handbook serves as a reference guide for La Mesa residents and includes public safety topics such as personal and home security tips, a checklist for creating an emergency supply kit, and contact information for emergency and City services.
