La Mesa Police cited 27 drivers for speeding during Saturday’s Traffic Safety Enforcement Program operation.

Officers also impounded the car of one driver who had a suspended license.

It was the fourth operation in La Mesa, and police said motorists should expect aggressive speeding enforcement to continue throughout the year.
