La Mesa Police Arrest 3 During DUI Warrant Sweep

Officers fan out Friday looking for 40 people wanted on outstanding warrants.

Officers from the conducted a DUI warrant sweep Friday, looking for 40 people who have been issued outstanding warrants within the last two months, according to police. Three were located and arrested.

According to police, several teams of officers conducted the sweep and attempted to locate those with outstanding warrants at their last known residence or where they work.

The operation was funded by grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
