In addition, nearly every event had Heartland Swim Association members in the Final and Consolation rounds.
"Many of the high school swimmers who competed at the league finals started in Summer League while in elementary or middle school," said Heartland Swim Association (HSA) President Pat Tope.
He added, "Credit for their success not only goes to the student-athlete's love of swimming but also to their families who chose to give them an early start in the sport by enrolling them in the Summer League Program which covers nearly every community in the East County".
Registration for the 2014 Summer League program is now underway. Heartland Summer League begins June 23 and is designed for swimmers of all abilities from the ages of 6 to 18.
