Deputies responded to Fannie's Cocktails on Campo Road after 911 calls were made about gunshots just after midnight.

A person with multiple gunshot wounds arrived at Grossmont Hospital early Sunday morning as sheriff’s deputies were investigating reports of shots being fired near a Spring Valley bar, according to authorities.

Calls to 911 were made just after midnight reporting gunshots outside Fannie’s Cocktails, 9143 Campo Rd., according to Sgt. James Blanton. Deputies contacted possible witnesses inside and outside the bar, and none appeared to be involved with the shooting. Some witnesses told deputies that those involved in the shooting left the area before deputies arrived.

The gunshot-wound victim, whose condition was not released, was transferred to Sharp Memorial Hospital. No other victims or witnesses were found at the bar, according to Blanton.
