Five people were arrested at a Spring Valley residence that was the subject of several citizens' complaints citing theft and drug-related activity, authorities said Friday.

Sheriff's deputies and county probation officers searched the home at 3615 Fairway Drive east of state Route 94 about 7 a.m. Thursday, according to Sgt. Mike Krugh.

Krugh said authorities found "several known and prolific offenders" living at the residence, along with three ounces of methamphetamine, pharmaceutical drugs, drug paraphernalia and ammunition.

Deputies then arrested Don Addison Taylor, 53; Lenora Lee Nish, 52; Barbara Jane Gallet, 43; Thelma Zebiren, 47; and Kathy Evans, 55, on suspicion of various drug and/or weapons violations, according to Krugh and jail records.
