Crime Report: Driver Arrested for DUI, Felony Evading

Wednesday, Jan. 25
A assault with a deadly weapon not a firearm was reported on Faxon Street at Akard Street. A 22-year-old male suffered a severe laceration, according to a report.
A stolen car was recovered on Sacramento Avenue at Piedmont Street.

A computer valued at $700 was reported stolen during a residential burglary in the 4100 block of Cortez Way.
A 19-year-old male was arrested for felony possession of composite knuckles on Bancroft Drive at Kenwood Drive during a subject stop just before 3 p.m.

A 30-year-old male was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sale and possession of marijuana for sale, both felonies, in the 9800 block of Campo Road just before 8 p.m.
Thursday, Jan. 26
A stolen car was recovered in the 8300 block of Verde Ridge Road.
A stolen car was recovered in the 3700 block of Fairway Drive.
Two license plates were reported stolen in the 600 block of Thayer Drive.
A license plate was reported stolen in the 8700 block of Tyler Street.
A 25-year-old male was placed under a citizen’s arrest for trespassing/obstructing business operations in the 600 block of Sweetwater Road.
A computer and a piece of jewelry with a combined value of $1,200 were reported stolen from a residence in the 3600 block of Calavo Drive.
A car valued at $5,000 was reported stolen in the 8300 block of Paradise Valley Road.
Friday, Jan. 27
A 33-year-old male was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance on San Diego Street at Concepcion Avenue just after 8 a.m.
A car valued at $32,000 was reported stolen on Bancroft Drive at Helix Street.
A 20-year-old male was arrested for felony receiving known stolen property in the 1100 block of San Bernardino Avenue. A portable music player valued at $300 was recovered.
A 27-year-old male was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance on Sweetwater Springs Boulevard at Austin Drive just before 10 p.m.
Saturday, Jan. 28
A 45-year-old male was arrested on a felony warrant and being drunk in public in the 1000 block of Sweetwater Road just after noon.
A residential burglary was reported in the 8900 block of Jamacha Road. Three computers and other items with a combined value of $1,900 were reported stolen.
A stolen car was recovered on Buena Vista at Eucalyptus.
Sunday, Jan. 29
A 21-year-old male was arrested for felony evading with wanton disregard for safety, felony resisting an officer resulting in minor injury, DUI and hit and run around 3:15 a.m. in the 8500 block of Spring Vista Way. A deputy suffered a minor injury, according to a report.
A battery on a person was reported in the 2400 block of Central Avenue just after 3 a.m. A 52-year-old man suffered a minor injury.
A car valued at $4,000 was reported stolen in the 6300 block of Quarry Road.
A pickup valued at $25,000 was reported stolen in the 3100 block of King Arthurs Court.
Two males, age 19 and 20, suffered minor injuries during a fight in the 9900 block of Campo Road just before 3 a.m.
Monday, Jan. 30
A tool valued at $900 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 3400 block of Harmony Lane.
A car was vandalized in the 9100 block of Cambon Street. Damage was estimated at $300.
A residential burglary was reported in the 8800 block of Harness Street. Electronics and other items valued at $2,804 were reported stolen.
Tuesday, Jan. 31
A pickup was vandalized in the 400 block of Paraiso Avenue. Damage was estimated at $125.
A cell phone, flashlight and clothing were reported stolen from a building in the 2200 block of Johns View Way.
