A man's body was found in roadside shrubbery near Cowles Mountain Wednesday.
The discovery off the 9400 block of Lake Murray Boulevard, just southwest of Grossmont College, was reported shortly before 12:30 p.m., according to San Diego police.
The fatality did not appear to be suspicious, SDPD spokesman Jim Johnson said. The county Medical Examiner's Office was called in to take custody of the body for identification and autopsy purposes.
