Update: Amber Alert Issued for Teen, 16, Boy, 8, in San Diego County

Police are looking for a blue Nissan Versa, with California license plate number 6WCU986. Tbe death of a Lakeside woman is connected to the case.

An Amber alert has been issued in the search for a teen girl and a young boy, whose disappearances may be linked to a fatal fire Sunday.

Hannah Anderson, 16, and Ethan Anderson, 8, were taken at 5 p.m. Saturday from Boulevard, a community in far East County northwest of Jacumba, authorities announced.

They are looking for a 2013 blue Nissan Versa four-door vehicle, with the license plate number of 6WCU986. It is a California plate.

The suspect is James Lee DiMaggio, 40, who is described as  5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He has been photographed with a dark goatee and clean shaven.

Hannah is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 115 pounds, and has blond hair
and blue eyes. She has a belly button ring, nose stud and pierced ears.

Ethan is 4 feet 11 inches tall, 64 pounds, and has sandy blond hair.

Authorities received reports of a fire in Boulevard late Sunday in the 200 block of Ross Avenue. 10News.com reported that officials found the body of Christina Anderson, 44, of Lakeside inside the home.

She is believed to have been killed, investigators said in a news conference late Monday, and another body, this time of a child, also was found on the property. A dog's body also was recovered.

NBCSanDiego.com reports that the dead woman is the missing children's mother.
  
Those who spot the missing teen and boy or the vehicle or have any other information are asked to call the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, 858-565-5200, immediately.

The FBI also is assisting, according to 10News.
