Alarm Prompts Police Search for Burglary Suspect in La Mesa
Law enforcement responded near the Staples store at Grossmont Center.
Police officers responding to an early morning alarm call Wednesday at Grossmont Center failed to locate a burglary suspect, according to a report by CBS8.com.
A search was underway about 5 a.m. Wednesday at the shopping center, with police officers responding near the Staples store. The effort was called off, however, after law enforcement combed the area and no suspect was turned up.
No word on what tripped the burglary alarm.
An investigation will continue, according to CBS8.com.
