12-Year-Old La Mesa Boy Returns Home, After He Was Reported Missing

Ronald Bianchi, 12, was last seen at Lemon Avenue Elementary School, but did not return home. He was found at approximately 8 p.m.

A 12-year-old student of Lemon Avenue Elementary School was recovered on Tuesday night after being reported missing earlier in the day.

Before returning home at around 8 p.m., Ronald Bianchi was last seen at the school, where he is a sixth grader. He was reported missing at approximately 5:26 p.m. to La Mesa Police Department, who initiated a search.

According to Bianchi's mother, she arrived at the school at approximately 1:20 p.m. to pick him up and he was not outside. The mother contacted his teacher who said that Ronald was last seen waiting outside of the school between 1-1:15 p.m. The mother went home at approximately 1:30 p.m. in hopes that her son would show up at the house.

Ronald did not have a cell phone and was new to the area, after the family moved to La Mesa from Spring Valley approximately three months ago.
