A 12-year-old student of Lemon Avenue Elementary School was recovered on Tuesday night after being reported missing earlier in the day.
Before returning home at around 8 p.m., Ronald Bianchi was last seen at the school, where he is a sixth grader. He was reported missing at approximately 5:26 p.m. to La Mesa Police Department, who initiated a search.
According to Bianchi's mother, she arrived at the school at approximately 1:20 p.m. to pick him up and he was not outside. The mother contacted his teacher who said that Ronald was last seen waiting outside of the school between 1-1:15 p.m. The mother went home at approximately 1:30 p.m. in hopes that her son would show up at the house.
Ronald did not have a cell phone and was new to the area, after the family moved to La Mesa from Spring Valley approximately three months ago.
