Late-February Rain a Good Start for La Mesa
Finally, the eastern-Pacific storm door has opened wide enough to allow a series of winter storms to impact the entire state of California. With just 4 months remaining on the annual rain calendar (spanning July to June) and January/February being the most prominent months for rainfall in the region, La Mesa is still more than 3” behind its 2012‒2013 tally (2.85” vs 5.98”), which was also the lowest on record over the past 6 years.
