Weather Window: May 2012 Extremes for La Mesa

Little unusual occurred over the past 31 days (of May) weather-wise for the city of La Mesa. Temperatures were generally slightly above average for most of the month and precipitation unsurprisingly was well below: roughly 10% of historical mean. Our annual precipitation-recording season begins anew Sunday, July 1st.

The regional effect of "May Grey" quickly turned to "June Gloom" during this first weekend of the new month with little change expected in near future.
