Fun Times at Mission Trails

A series of photos taken at Mission Trails by Patty Mooney

We San Diegans are so fortunate to have Mission Trails Regional Park as our "backyard."  It's a delicious destination for hikers, bicyclists, families and tourists.

Let's keep it that way.  Cogentrix of North Carolina wants to rezone adjoining property from "Open Space" to "Heavy Industrial" to build a power plant right next to Mission Trails.  This project follows on the heels of SDG&E's attempts to stick San Diego taxpayers with THEIR bill for causing the 2007 wildfires. Anybody who loves our "backyard" needs to step up, say enough is enough, and help protect Mission Trails for future generations.

I am sharing this series of photographs with you to remind you how much we need this special place to stay just the way it is.  To become involved in saving Mission Trails from unscrupulous fossil-fuel carpet-baggers, go to Save Mission Trails.
