Dr. Dennis McKee—an orthodontist who had an office on Palm Avenue in La Mesa—died Nov. 4 of Parknson’s disease, according to an obituary in U-T San Diego.
He was 77.
“He was a dental technician in the Army at Fort Ord in 1955 and made his way to San Diego in 1959, where he obtained his BA in zoology from San Diego State University,” his obituary said.
In 1994-95, Dr. McKee was president of the Children’s Dental Health Association of San Diego. He had an office in Del Cerro for 30 years.
Survivors include three daughters and five grandchildren. A celebration of Life was held Saturday in La Jolla.
