Voters call on California US Senator Dianne Feinstein to debate her opponent Elizabeth Emken

"Nothing says entrenched incumbent like a 42 year politician who wont debate their challenger". Los Angeles Times stated in a July 17 editorial urging California US Senator Dianne Feinstein to debate Republican nominee Elizabeth Emken.

Elizabeth Emken has made several requests to debate incumbant US Senator Feinstein. Feinstein has refused to debate.

According to the latest polling, Emken has gained 6 points: Feinstein 45.9% (the
worst figures of her political career) / Emken 33.6% / 20% undecided.

In a July 17 editorial, the LA Times urged Feinstein to debate Emken: "Face your rival Sen. Feinstein, it would benefit voters to hear both candidates articulate their positions on important issues".
