On Saturday evening December 15th we will gather in
Friendship Hall at the foot of the cross for a conversation and prayers in
response to this most recent expression of meaningless violence.  Please bring a candle in a holder to light as
a sign that he light of love always prevails.

If you cannot attend, please light a candle where you are at
6:00 PM on Saturday, in solidarity and support for the families affected by
this tragedy – even you and your family.

Driving by our local elementary school today, I was sure
that parents were picking up their children with special care and love.  Given the events of December 14th, the joys
of the season may seem out of place, as our prayers go out for the children and
teachers at Sandy Hook and their families and households.  But we know that in the end love
prevails.  We all want to hold our loved
ones close today. .  Jesus was born into
such a world as this.   In this season we
appreciate even more the significance of that event.

Peace to all,

Rev. Bill
