Term Limits, Chickens and Teen Center Revitalization at City Council Meeting

The La Mesa City Council will consider Tuesday whether the city should adopt term limits.

If approved at their meeting at 4 p.m. Tuesday, voters will be asked to vote next fall to decide if the mayor of La Mesa and members of the La Mesa City Council should be limited to three consecutive terms of office.

People may be eligible to become candidates again if they take a two-year hiatus between terms.
