MID: Mortgage Interest Deduction

Congress says it can save billions by cutting out homeowners mortgage interest deductions.  True it can save money to help pay off the deficit but is the sacrafice worth it?

All homeowners and future homeowners will be affected.  Owners will want to downsize and many buyers will be pushed out of the market because they need this deduction to qualify.
