LMSV Teachers Support Jay Steiger & Emma Turner for School Board

La Mesa-Spring Valley teachers are asking for your support in electing Jay Steiger and Emma Turner to the LMSV School Board.

Jay Steiger is a local parent who has been a strong advocate for all students for many years.  He has served on various district committees, as PTA president, and is a constant fixture at district meetings and in classrooms.  A lifelong Spring Valley resident and past student in our schools, Jay is actively involved in education and always puts the best interests of children first. Jay is highly visible and well-known throughout the district; constantly listening to and communicating with parents, staff, and the community. Even in these tough budgetary times, we are confident that Jay will help our district continue to excel, and will be an excellent Board member for the students and families we serve.

Emma Turner is a current Board Member, and has always shown dedication to  students first.  She has demonstrated a strong committment to educating all children, especially those with the highest need. Emma is always willing to listen, is responsive to needs, and is an advocate for all stakeholders.  We believe Emma's leadership will continue to help our district stay strong, even with education's current budgetary crisis.
