La Mesa AYSO (American Youth Soccer Organization) completed their 2013 season with four teams winning championships in the Area 11V Tournament of Champions (TOC) and All Stars Tournament respectively. These teams advanced to Section 11 playoffs in Garden Grove. The TOC and All Stars Tournament featured top teams from the local AYSO East County regions. After two consecutive weekends of play in each tournament, the highest scoring teams played for a final championship win. In the TOC, the girls and boys under 10 teams (U10) were champions and in the All Stars, the girls under 10 and boys under 14 (U14) teams won. La Mesa AYSO hosted the U10 games at Spring Valley Middle School.
AYSO is an all volunteer non profit organization which seeks to build youth character and sportsmanship through a soccer program mixing fun with skill building where all players will play in every game.

New or Returning AYSO Players are encouraged to participate in either the $65.00 Spring Jamboree Program (ages 4 -14) or sign up for the $75.00 Spring Select Program (ages 10-16).
The Jamboree Season (8 wk program) starts Saturday March 8, 2014 and is an excellent program that mixes skills and drills with scrimmages. All games and practices are played on Saturday mornings within AYSO La Mesa fields and create a fun, positive family fun atmosphere for all players.
