Senior Expo Featuring Transportation and Safety Resources

The City of La Mesa will host it's 4th Annual Senior Expo at the Community Services Center.  Expo offers a variety of excellent speakers with tips on driving safely, recognizing and reporting elder abuse, avoiding mail and other scams, and much more.  Exhibitors include Aging and Independence Services, Jewish Family Services, Elderhelp, Rides4Neighbors, the Burn Institute's free smoke alarm program, SDG&E, Sharp Senior Resource Center, and others.  Flu shots will be offered throughout the day by Sharp Grossmont for a $2 donation.  Free refreshments, opportunity drawings. Please call 619-667-1322 to rsvp.  http://www.cityoflamesa.com/Calendar.aspx?EID=3060&month=10&year=2013&day=17&calType=0
