A hazardous weather advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service for San Diego County Thursday night into Friday with the expectation of moderate, scattered rainfall, high winds and low daytime temperatures through Saturday. Local-mountain snow level will be near 4,000 feet Friday morning.
Friday forecast: Showers early with the possibility of a thunderstorm, becoming mostly cloudy with a daytime high near 55. West wind between 5 and 10 mph with gusts possible up to 20 mph. Mostly cloudy overnight with continued rain (50 percent) and a low around 42. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
Saturday forecast: Cloudy with a 30 percent chance of rain early, becoming mostly sunny midday with a daytime high near 57. Calm wind becoming west between 5 and 10 mph. Partly cloudy overnight with a low around 44.
