Wife Being Questioned After Husband, Daughter's Death

A wife is being questioned after husband and daughter were shot to death near Lake Murray.

A 55-year-old woman was being questioned after she called relatives in another state to report her husband and teenaged daughter had been shot dead inside an apartment near Lake Murray today, a police lieutenant said.

The woman apparently called relatives in another state to say the man
and girl were dead, and the relative called local police, who called San Diego
police at 1:35 a.m., said San Diego police Lt.  Kevin Rooney.

Officers were dispatched to an apartment in the 7200 block of Navajo Road, and made contact with the woman inside the apartment. The officers convinced the woman to come outside the structure, where she was detained, and the two bodies were discovered inside.

At dawn, detectives were preparing a search warrant to legally enter the apartment and process it for evidence, Rooney said.
