LA MESA VILLAGE FARMERS MARKET

  • What's Up: Looking for something to throw on the grill? La Mesa Village Farmers Market will feature fresh produce, handmade products, hot food, flowers and more.
  • When: 2 to 6 p.m. on Friday, June 28. 
  • Where: La Mesa Civic Center, La Mesa Blvd. and Date Ave., La Mesa.
'THE HOPPERS' CONCERT
  • What's Up: Gospel Music Hall of Fame members, The Hoppers will make a stop in La Mesa. The gospel group is on their "Something Good" tour to promote their latest release, Count Me In. 
  • When: 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 30. 
  • Where: Skyline Church, 11330 Campo Rd., La Mesa.
  • Price: $16-$20. 
'SUNDAYS AT SIX' SUMMER CONCERT: COOLISH
  • What's Up: Sit back, relax and enjoy a concert at the park. The Sundays at Six Summer Concert Series will feature the acoustic rock band, Coolish. 
  • When: 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 30. 
  • Where: Harry Griffen Park, 9550 Milden St., La Mesa. 
  • Price: Free. 
SANTEE COMMUNITY CHORUS CONCERT
  • What's Up: Santee Community Chorus non-religious volunteer chorus made of people from all over San Diego and will host a concert this Saturday.
  • When: 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 29.
  • Where:  El Cajon Library, 201 E. Douglas Ave., El Cajon. 
  • Price: Free. 
BNS BREWING & DISTILLING CO. GRAND OPENING
  • What's Up: BNS Brewing and Distilling Co. will open its doors and celebrate a grand opening. The day long event will food trucks, ribbon cutting ceremony and more. Kids are welcome. 
  • When: 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 29. 
  • Where: BNS Brewing and Distilling Co., 10960 Wheatlands Ave Suite 101, Santee.
