Observed conditions for Tuesday, August 2, 2011, from La Mesa Mesonet station. Forecast data from National Weather Service.

Wednesday forecast: Sunny with a daytime high near 86. Calm wind becoming west between 5 and 10 mph. Mostly clear overnight with a low around 63. Northwest wind between 5 and 15 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Thursday forecast: Sunny with a daytime high near 83. West wind between 5 and 10 mph. Increasing cloudiness overnight with late patchy fog and a low around 63. West wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Extended forecast: Cloudy with patchy fog through midmorning both Friday and Saturday with gradual clearing and daytime highs near 84, then increasing cloudiness overnight with late patchy fog and lows around 63.
