Rollover Crash Early Tuesday Snarls Traffic on SR-125 in La Mesa

Among the two people trapped in the wreckage was a woman whose legs were pinned in her SUV, the CHP reported.

A rollover crash in La Mesa snarled traffic on Highway 125 early Tuesday, as firefighters worked to free two people from the wreckage, authorities said.

An SUV and a tow truck collided on northbound Highway 125, south of Interstate 8, shortly before 6 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

Among the two people trapped in the wreckage was a woman whose legs were pinned in her SUV, the CHP reported. The extent of injuries was not immediately released.

A SigAlert was in effect due to the crash, which blocked two lanes of traffic on the right-hand side of the highway.
