Observed conditions for Monday, May 23, 2011, from La Mesa Mesonet station.

A thick onshore flow combined with a trough of low pressure kept local skies mostly cloudy and temperatures cool Monday. Mostly partly cloudy conditions will persist through midweek in conjunction with late-night and early morning patchy fog. Temperatures will climb into the mid-70s by Wednesday and remain there into Memorial Day weekend. No precipitation is expected within the next 7 days.
