Observed conditions for Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011, from La Mesa Mesonet station. Forecast data from National Weather Service.

Friday forecast: Early morning patchy fog with a slight chance of drizzle. Otherwise, cloudy with gradual clearing and a daytime high near 74. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph. Increasing cloudiness overnight with late patchy fog and a low around 58. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Saturday forecast: Early morning clouds and patchy fog with gradual clearing and a daytime high near 75. Calm wind becoming west between 5 and 10 mph. Increasing cloudiness overnight with late patchy fog and a low around 59. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Extended forecast: Early morning clouds and patchy fog Sunday with gradual clearing and a daytime high near 78 and an overnight low around 60 under increasing cloudiness and patchy fog. Early morning patchy fog Monday becoming sunny with a daytime high near 82 and an overnight low around 62 under clear skies.

Thursday conditions: Early morning clouds and patchy fog clearing late to partly cloudy with a daytime high of 77. Wind mainly from the northwest between 5 and 10 mph.
