Mainly Late Rain Friday, but Gone After Saturday

Observed conditions for Friday, Apr. 8, 2011, from La Mesa Mesonet station. Forecast data from National Weather Service.

Saturday forecast: Cloudy early with continued chance of rain (20 percent), becoming mostly sunny midday with a daytime high near 58. Calm wind becoming west between 5 and 10 mph. Mostly cloudy overnight with a low around 43. West wind between 5 and 10 mph becoming calm.

Sunday forecast: Mostly cloudy early, becoming sunny with a daytime high near 63. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph. Partly cloudy overnight with late patchy fog and a low around 50.

Extended forecast: Mostly sunny both Monday and Tuesday with daytime highs in the mid to upper 60s. Partly to mostly cloudy both nights with late fog likely and overnight lows in the upper 40s.
