La Mesa Royalty Crowned, New Businesses, and High School Sports

A local preschool was denied the opportunity to expand to a larger facility adjacent to Northmont Elementary, the city council ruled last week. Concerns of increased traffic and noise in the already busy residential area on Howell Avenue was the main reason.
