La Mesa Rotary Club Honored with Certificate of Recognition

The letter was specifically recognizing the service that the La Mesa Rotary Club rendered in conjunction with the Church on the "Mormon Helping Hands" day of service on April 28.

The following announcement was recently made by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints:

On May 23, 2012, La Mesa Councilmember Ernie Ewin presented a Certificate of Recognition for outstanding service to Tim Miller, President of the La Mesa Rotary Club, at the Rotary Club's weekly meeting currently being held at the Joan Kroc Center. 

The letter was specifically recognizing the service that the La Mesa Rotary Club rendered in conjunction with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on the "Mormon Helping Hands" day of service on April 28.

At the conclusion of Councilman Ewin's remarks, Tim Miller then presented the councilman with an award for exemplary service to the community.  The meeting was well attended and mutual admiration for both organizations was felt by all.
