Despite widespread public approval, the board of the Grossmont Union High School District, voted to postpone a decision about a community garden at Helix High School.

Thanks to a large donation of brand new field turf, Sweetwater Lane Park in Spring Valley will get a facelift. No timetable on completion set as of yet.
