Cooler Friday and Saturday, but More Warmth Ahead
Observed conditions for Thursday, April 28, 2011, from La Mesa Mesonet station. Forecast data from National Weather Service.
Our mild conditions of late are in stark contrast to horrific tornado-spawning storms plaguing the Southeast over the past several days. Thus far, this spring has been one of the worst on record (worst in past 40 years) for vortex size and strength in that region. As far as La Mesa’s weather is concerned, we’re maintaining conditions very near average (slightly warmer than average over the past few days).
