Family and friends were mourning the loss of Spring Valley resident Paul Swayze this week. He was killed over the weekend in a motorcycle crash.

A curfew sweep of several East County neighborhoods, including Spring Valley and Lemon Grove, on Friday resulted in 13 teens being arrested. Their parents were called and they were educated about staying off of the streets.
