Another Weekend Storm on the Way

The National Weather Service is forecasting rain and wind for Sunday.

A winter Pacific storm was expected to move through San Diego County Saturday night and Sunday, bringing precipitation and gusty winds this weekend.

Isolated sprinkles and light winds were expected Saturday, with cooler than average temperatures, as a trough of low pressure moved over the West Coast, the NWS reported.

The storm system from the Gulf of Alaska was expected to move inland across Southern California and Northern Baja Sunday and Monday morning, according to a NWS statement.
