The Grossmont Union High School District is using existing bond money to facilitate school construction and renovation projects at campuses across East County, including at Monte Vista and Mount Miguel High Schools.

In an effort to boost awareness and participation in Bike To Work Day on May 20, SANDAG announced programs and bike locker locations at many trolley stops across the county, the closest of which are in La Mesa and Lemon Grove.
