"Got Plans?' College and Career Fair at Grossmont College

Students and parents can chat with representatives from more than 90 universities, community colleges, vocational schools, and the military at 'Got Plans?'

In partnership with the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District, the Grossmont Union High School District is hosting its ninth annual Got Plans? Career & College Fair for high school students and parents from 1- 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Grossmont College in El Cajon. Admission to the event, expected to draw more than 6,000 people, is free and open to the public.

High School students and parents can chat with admissions representatives from more than 90 public and private universities, community colleges, vocational schools, and the military.

Free workshops will review information on four-year universities, two-year colleges, financial aid and career opportunities, as well as SAT/ACT tests. Some sessions will be offered in Spanish and Arabic.

Grossmont College will showcase many popular departments including administration of justice/forensics with crime scenes, finger printing, and more; allied health tours and information sessions; culinary arts, and performing arts. Always popular with teens is a video game competition in the new Griffin Center.
