Blog: Chris Gonzales Bullies Readers Inc Out of Farmers Market
Unfair treatment of newly launch Readers Inc Mobile
Today I received a phone call from the Farmers Market Manager saying that Chris Gonzles, of the City of La Mesa's Community Development Department, will not allow to participate in the La Mesa Farmers Market. Why? Brace yourself -- it's based upon my voiced opposition of PBID.
In 2009 Chris Gonzales welcomed me to the Farmers Market each week. I was the only La Mesa Village Merchant using the Merchant booth. I was there for about a year or so. Setting up each week to sell books. But that was before PBID. That was when Chris Gonzales 'liked' me. That was before we had different opinions of PBID.
Now, I believe Chris Gonzales is using his postion to hurt my newly formed Mobile Book Store, and it's not right.

As of today, I am still a La Mesa Village brick and mortar store. Why can't I be at Farmers Market?
It's just like we discussed at the Tuesday night City Council Meeting. PBID Personalities - nothing more.
