LEVEL 10 CONSTRUCTION NAMES CARL HAINES DIRECTOR OF SPECIAL PROJECTS IN SAN DIEGO

Mike Conroy, Vice President of Operations for Level 10 Construction’s San Diego office, announced today that industry veteran Carl Haines has been named Director of Special Projects.

Haines will focus on special projects throughout San Diego, including tenant improvements renovations and modernizations within Level 10 Construction’s core markets: corporate, healthcare, education, entertainment, hospitality, technology and life sciences.

“We welcome Carl Haines to Level 10 Construction,” Conroy said. “Carl has many years of experience in building signature projects in San Diego, and is known for his expertise in tenant improvements and renovation.”

Haines, formerly Managing Director of Construction Services for Johnson & Jennings General Contracting, has over 27 years of experience in TI/Special Projects throughout the Southern California region, with over 23 years working on San Diego projects. Some of his previous high-profile projects while at other firms include the multiple build-outs for EDF Renewable Energy, Rancho Bernardo; tenant improvements for TaylorMade Adidas Golf, Carlsbad; build-outs for law firms Jones Day LLP, Knobbe Martens and Sheppard Mullin Richter Hamilton LLP, San Diego; multiple tenant improvements for JMI Realty and the San Diego Padres, San Diego; re-imaging for Allianz Global Investors, San Diego; build-out for Time Warner Cable, San Diego; and tenant improvements for Provide Commerce, San Diego. Haines attended San Diego State University and is a graduate of the California State Apprenticeship Program.

Level 10 Construction’s special projects teams, known for their successful on-budget and on-time delivery, specialize in renovating commercial projects that have tight site constraints or are currently occupied facilities. In addition to the special projects area, the Level 10 San Diego office is currently working on projects for the San Diego Zoo as well as upgrades to three existing single-story buildings at Summit Rancho Bernardo, a corporate campus with Class A office space located on 105 acres in Rancho Bernardo. Improvements to the buildings include upgrades to the exterior façade, ADA improvements, a mechanical conversion, electrical service upgrade and other building improvements. 

The Summit Rancho Bernardo project is being developed by Jay Paul Company, one of California’s leading real estate developers and owner of over five million square feet of prime commercial real estate throughout the state. Summit Rancho Bernardo has a development potential of up to 3.2 million square feet and is ideally suited for companies seeking expansion or relocation opportunities in a strategic San Diego location adjacent to the 1-15 business corridor.
