To continue the celebration, free coffee will be offered until March 1 and daily specials will be offered until March 15.

McDonald's of San Diego County recently made the following announcement:

After a major renovation designed to give customers a more inviting dining experience, the McDonald’s restaurant located at 3781 Avocado Blvd., in unincorporated La Mesa, re-opened its doors Saturday, Feb. 16.

Highlights of the redesigned Rancho San Diego restaurant include a new exterior, landscaping that complements the community and a double-lane drive-thru. Inside, customers enjoyed comfortable lighting, contemporary color schemes that reflect the personality of the brand, along with new furniture with natural finishes. Technological enhancements include digital menu boards and a dual-point counter service system designed to improve service times.

The restaurant, operated by local business owner Phil Palumbo, celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a raffle drawing for prizes, such as flat screen TVs, electronic tablets, MP3 players, gift cards and more. Ronald McDonald® also did an on-lot magic show. Representatives from the offices of State Senator Joel Anderson and State Assemblyman Brian Jones were also on hand to provide certificates of recognition for the grand re-opening event. About 400 people were in attendance during the lunchtime festivities.

To continue the celebration, free coffee will be offered until March 1 and daily specials will be offered until March 15. The restaurant will also extend its hours to include a 24-hour lobby and drive thru.
