Power Outage: Batteries Can’t Help When Truck Won’t Start

Beefy tow truck is needed to remove delivery vehicle outside EDCO recycling yard.

An Interstate Batteries delivery truck needed a tow about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday after losing some kind of juice. Stuck in the  8100 block of Commercial Street in front of Trotter Door & Trim, the brightly painted vehicle was rescued by C&D Towing Specialists of La Mesa—which dispatched Marvin Bazile to load up the large truck. “Just wasn’t starting,” Bazile said of the battery truck. “Probably a fuel issue.” He jumped into his own well-painted machine and pulled past the EDCO recycling center. Mission accomplished.
