Play In the Cali Comfort-Mount Helix Patch NCAA Tournament Contest

There's a great way to celebrate March Madness and help youth sports in Spring Valley.

Play in the Mount Helix Patch & 2011 NCAA Men’s Basketball Pool. Proceeds from this fundraiser go to support youth basketball in Spring Valley.

What better way to earn bragging rights at the bar than to beat your fellow competitors with your pick prognostication skills.

The rules are simple. Download and print out a blank NCAA Tournament bracket on the attached PDF. Fill it out and drop it off at Cali Comfort, along with your $10 donation.

Points will go as follows for each correct pick: 1st round - 1 point, 2nd round - 2 points, Sweet 16 - 3 points, Elite 8 - four points, Final Four - 5 points, National Championship game - 6 points.

Upon submitting your bracket, you must also submit the total points in the championship game to be used as a tiebreaker, in the event of a tie. All entries must be received by 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 18 in order to qualify for prizes. You may also scan and e-mail your entry to either eric.yates@patch.com or shawn@calicomfortsd.com, but your $10 donation must be dropped off in person before the deadline.

*Note: There are play-in games on Tuesday and Wednesday this year. Entries not received before these games will miss out on bonus points.

Winner receives $200 gift card  Cali Comfort, a Patch T-shirt, Patch water bottle, and additional Patch swag.

Prizes will be given out to the Final Four (four top scoring) entries including Cali T-shirts, hats, Cali VIP Packages, and more!
