Friday is the final day to sign up to be a vendor or a competing barbecue team for the third annual Spring Valley Tailgate and BBQ Fest.
This year the festival is being held on Sunday, Oct. 14.
As of now there are nine teams competing in the event that draws thousands to Spring Valley each year.
The always-popular event, co-sponsored by the Spring Valley Chamber of Commerce, will once again be held on the closed-down Troy Street in front of Cali Comfort Restaurant and Sports Bar. Since its inception in 2010, the festival continues to grow, and is able to raise more for youth sports in the Spring Valley area.
