Grab a Drink: Nightclub, Coffee Cart Among New La Mesa Businesses

La Mesa announces 56 businesses holding new licenses, the majority of which are specialty contractors.

A new bar/night club is coming to La Mesa.

DBA Chico Club, located at 7366 El Cajon Blvd., was among the 56 new businesses issued licenses by the city in February. Another place to grab a drink of a different sort is The Coffee Bar, at 5565 Grossmont Blvd.

Additionally, licenses were issued for three automotive-related businesses: Safecon, an automobile dealer, 8530 La Mesa Blvd., Ste. 304; Midas (auto parts and repair), 7207 University Ave.; and H10 Empire Auto Gallery, 7317 El Cajon Blvd., Ste 202B, an auto wholesale store.

Genevieve A. Suzuki, a practicing attorney, Patch contributor, and editor of the La Mesa Courier, a La Mesa-Mount Helix Patch media partner, also was granted a license for her new law office, located at 5480 Baltimore Drive, Ste. 205.

The farthest flung licensee was 3S Network Inc., a specialty contractor out of Bellevue, WA. 3S Network was the only licensee located outside of the state of California.
