Crane Delivers School Bus to BO-beau kitchen + garden
The Cohn Restaurant Group's Bo-beau kitchen + garden brought a bus to its outdoor patio for kids to play in that will available for kids to play in Tuesday.
A school bus arrived at Bo-Beau kitchen + garden Friday with no wheels or children inside.
The bus was hoisted over fences surrounding the outdoor patio of the La Mesa Boulevard corner lot restaurant that opened last month and will become a new play area available to kids starting Tuesday, said Operating Partner Michelle Kveen.
To fit in the space the bus lost its engine, wheels and most of its seats and got a fresh coat of paint and carpet interior.
Though much of the bus was gutted, it still has its wheel so kids can drive. Additional features may be added to the bus interior in the future, Kveen said.
